Adopting a Bird


    All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application.

    If you are interested in one of our birds on the website or on Petfinder
    simply send us an email and request an application.  The adoption
    application will help us learn more about you and what you are looking
    for in terms of a companion bird.  

    Please fill out the application form completely and honestly so that we
    can find the best match for you.

    We charge a nominal adoption fee for each of our birds.  Without these
    fees would not be able to do rescue.  Taking in and caring for animals
    costs money, not to mention time and hard work.  Collecting these
    fees allows us to take in more birds.

    The adoption fee depends on the individual bird based on the species
    of bird and what, if any medical care we have obtained for the bird.
