Dublin Creek Kennel Classes
Schedule and Policies

    Class Information and Policies
All training classes held at Dublin Creek Kennel are held outdoors in our spacious training yard.  Our training yard is fully
fenced and completely covered with high quality synthetic grass.

We don't allow aggressive dogs into classes, however we may work with them privately or refer you to another qualified
trainer for private lessons.   Due to our busy weekend schedule of dog shows and seminars, some Saturday sessions will
have skipped Saturdays.  You will receive a class schedule at the first class meeting.  We do not give refunds for any
    reason.

We require that all dogs and puppies attending our classes be current on vaccinations.  Proof of DHLPP, Bordetella
(kennel cough) and rabies is required for classes held at Dublin Creek Kennel.

    Beginning Level Classes
    Puppy Preschool (6 weeks, 50 minutes, $150)
Saturdays, 11:00-11:50am (next session starts August 27, 2011) - Instructor: Vicki Ronchette
All of our puppy classes are taught by Vicki Ronchette, CPDT, CAP2.  Vicki has been involved in puppy classes for over 20
years.  Many training school put the least experienced trainers in charge of puppy classes.  We believe that puppy classes
are among the most important classes that you will ever attend with your dog and that they should be taught and run by the
most experienced trainers available.  Puppy classes shape how your dog will grow up and relate to other dogs, other
people and you.  We take great care in making sure that each puppy is socialized in a way that benefits him and protects
his comfort level to ensure positive experiences at this critical period in his life.  This is a "make or break" time in a puppies
life that even one bad experience can greatly impact, this is why we do everything we can to make sure that our puppy
classes give puppies the best start possible.

Puppy socialization class is for puppies between the ages of 2 and 5 months old.  This class is designed to socialize
puppies with other puppies as well as new people and to help owners deal with puppy issues such as potty training, biting,
jumping up and more.  We also get the puppies started on learning the fundamental obedience behaviors such as sit,
down, come and loose leash walking.  Owners should bring a 6 foot leather, nylon or cotton lead, buckle or snap collar and
treats, as well as proof of shots.  Puppies must have had at least 2 shots and puppies over 4 months old must have had
    their rabies shot.

dogs learn.  Students will be taught how to train their dogs to heel, sit, come, lie down, stand, stay as well as others.  Dogs
do come to the first class.  Different types of equipment will be discussed and recommended on the first night.  Owners
