Who we are
East Bay Dog Trainers was founded in 2007 to encourage positive dog trainers to
network together. We are a group of individuals committed to working together,
continued education and the promotion of positive reinforcement dog training
techniques.
Our membership is primarily made up of dog trainers but also includes other pet
trainers and professionals.
Membership is by invitation only.
What we do
Provide our communities with alternative training methods to that of harsh, forceful,
compulsive, painful and coercive techniques.
Support like-minded professionals in their continuing educational and skill
development.
To offer a safe-haven for positive and humane trainers and to form a supportive
network.
Our Mission
To educate the public and pet care professionals about the importance of using
science based, dog friendly, positive reinforcement techniques to train the dogs in
our community.
